Robux & Money Conversion

What is the DevEx rate?

The DevEx (Developer Exchange) rate is $0.0035 per Robux. This is the official rate at which Roblox developers can exchange their earned Robux for real money through the Developer Exchange program. You need at least 30,000 Robux to cash out.

How much does Robux cost to buy?

Robux prices vary by package. Common packages include 400 R$ for $4.99 (~$0.0125/R$), 800 R$ for $9.99 (~$0.0125/R$), and 1,700 R$ for $19.99 (~$0.0118/R$). Premium subscribers get better rates and monthly Robux stipends.

Why is there a difference between buying and selling rates?

When you buy Robux, you pay Roblox's retail price (around $0.0125 per Robux). When developers cash out through DevEx, they receive the wholesale rate ($0.0035 per Robux). This difference allows Roblox to operate the platform and provide services.

Can I trust the conversion calculations?

Yes! Our calculators use the official Roblox conversion rates and are regularly updated. However, actual rates may vary slightly based on your region, payment method, and package size when purchasing Robux.

What are the DevEx requirements?

To use DevEx, you need: (1) At least 30,000 earned Robux in your account, (2) A verified email address, (3) A valid DevEx portal account, (4) Be 13 years or older, (5) Be a member of the Roblox Premium or Outrageous Builders Club, and (6) Have a good standing account.

How often are conversion rates updated?

We monitor Roblox pricing regularly and update our conversion rates whenever Roblox changes their official rates. Our DevEx rate is always current with Roblox's official Developer Exchange program.

Robux Tax Calculator

What is the Roblox marketplace fee?

Roblox charges a 30% marketplace fee on all transactions involving limited items, game passes, developer products, and group payouts. This means sellers receive 70% of the listed price.

How do I calculate what I'll receive after tax?

Simply multiply the sale price by 0.7 (or 70%). For example, if you sell an item for 1,000 Robux, you'll receive 700 Robux after the 30% marketplace fee.

How do I calculate what to charge to receive a specific amount?

Divide your desired earnings by 0.7. For example, if you want to receive 700 Robux after tax, you should price the item at 1,000 Robux (700 รท 0.7 = 1,000).

Does the 30% fee apply to all Roblox transactions?

The 30% fee applies to most marketplace transactions, including sales of limited items, game passes, and developer products. However, Premium Payouts from engagement and some other revenue sources may have different rates.

How do I change my Roblox username?

To change your Roblox username, go to Settings > Account Info > Username, then enter your new username and confirm with 1,000 Robux. Username changes are limited to once every 7 days per account.

What makes a good Roblox username?
